My design philosophy is based on systems thinking.

When looking at a project I try to switch between looking at the big picture of business goals and technical strategy to the small details of user tasks, and interactive processes.

I subscribe to the idea that design needs to be based on user research and that design proposals should be validated by the users through user feedback and user testing.

My previous work experience as a Human Factors Specialist trained me well into taking a holistic design perspective that includes the human, the machines (system) and the environment.

My personal interests also influence my design philosophy. These include: reading, art, travel, learning about cultures, philosophy, problem-solving strategies, creativity, and innovation strategies in general.
